Perva
Designed by Emerson Eller, Perva is a multiple classification font family. This typeface has three styles and was published by Eller Type.

Perva is a suite of three eye-catching fonts inspired by display types from the 19th century. This unconventional family has three different font styles that can be used individually or combined to build a playfulness multi-typeface design system. It is suitable for titling, posters headlines, book covers, packaging, social media, and branding.
Perva brings together a Slab serif font, a.k.a Antique or Egyptian; a Reverse-contrast or Italian; and an Old English Blackletter.

The design is inspired by the display types listed as “Typographic monstrosities” in Thomas C. Hansard’s book Typographia (1825).
What he found absurd was understood here as interesting and enjoyable to introduce a contemporary approach of the types widely sold by foundries such as Bruce’s New York Type-Foundry and Caslon Foundry.

Each of the three fonts holds around 400 glyphs, covering the languages of Northern, Western, Central, and Southern Europe. Opentype features include case-sensitive forms and a couple of alternates for the Blackletter style.

Business Letter JNL
Designed by Jeff Levine, Business Letter JNL is a display serif and display slab font family. This typeface has two styles and was published by Jeff Levine Fonts.

One of the text fonts showcased within the pages of the John Ryan Foundry (Baltimore, MD) specimen book from 1894 is a squared type face with rounded corners called “Geometric”.

The original design has been updated slightly by substituting straight lines for the inner corner curves to add a small contemporary touch to a classic alphabet from the 19th century.

Business Letter JNL is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Motisi Slab
Motisi Slab is a display slab font published by Motisico.

A combination of geometry and charisma, Motisi Slab is the first complete character set from designer Paul Motisi.

Motisi Slab does the kind of work that your average mono-weight slab serif is expected to do, while still possessing just enough flair to get your project a hint of retro chic. Taking influence from the greats like Herb Lubalin, this typeface is ready to deliver your message in any application. Motisi Slab works great as a display font for branding and posters.

Discórdia
Designed by Álvaro Franca, Felipe Casaprima and Ben Nathan, Discórdia is a display, display serif and display slab font family. This typeface has four styles and was published by Naipe.

Discórdia is a type-family of contrasting contrasts. Each of the four members of the family has a different contrast type. Regular has broad-nib contrast, Bold has horizontal contrast, the Italic is monoline, which means it has no apparent contrast, and Bold Italic is… Well, it’s probably best if see for yourself.

These different design structures were fine-tuned to work well together in the same line, creating emphasis and hierarchy through a mini-super-family that groups a wedge-serif Regular, a slab-serif Bold, a sans-serif-ish Italic and a twisted Bold Italic.

Naipe teamed up with Ben Nathan of Hafontia to extend Discórdia and give full Hebrew Support.

TT Globs
Designed by Antonina Zhulkova and TypeType Team, TT Globs is a display slab and slab serif font family. This typeface has four styles and was published by Typetype.

Attention! TT Globs does not support Cyrillic, the font only supports Latin.

About TT Globs: TT Globs is the first font from the TypeType Starter Kit line, which is aimed at providing designers with fashionable typefaces featuring the basic set of font instruments of the same quality and development level as in the main TypeType line.

The main differentiating feature of the line is the basic number of styles (only the most popular weights), absence of Cyrillic support, and a very thought-through character font composition without extra features and other superfluous elements. Thanks to such an approach, fonts from the TypeType Starter Kit line are democratically priced and are affordable for many designers.

We were inspired to develop TT Globs by the idea to unite historical slabs with contemporary perceptions about fonts, their uses, and display shapes of letters. Working on the typeface, we even wanted to make curves more mechanical and rather modular, which would be very much in contrast with the cozy lines from historical specimens.

The main visual features of TT Globs are the long display serifs, which create a unified text image and connect all the letters, especially uppercase, into an almost uninterrupted dynamic chain. Thanks to the long serifs and rather narrow spacing, the result of working with the text will always be a little different, and depending on the words you choose, you can even create particular images.

In addition, TT Globs stands out by its very wide letter proportions, tall lowercase characters, and long ascenders and descenders. To mix up the rigid font rhythm, we created asymmetric wave-like terminals and flowing elements in some letters. Specifically, the flowing shapes of the letters GSQRasgec can be mentioned in this regard—they attract attention and can even serve as an important element in a logotype.

The TT Globs font family consists of 3 weights (ExtraLight, Light, Regular) and one variable font. Each style has 625 glyphs and 26 OpenType features. An interesting feature of thetypeface is the stylistic alternates, for instance, Q and R with straight legs which make the font feel more serious. In addition, the font also has a set of alternative letters with sticking serifs, a set of beautiful ligatures, and several original icons and frames.

TT Globs OpenType features: aalt, ccmp, locl, subs, sinf, sups, numr, dnom, frac, ordn, pnum, tnum, case, dlig, liga, calt, ss01 (Alt. Latin Q, R), ss02 (Alt. Latin a, g, y), ss03 (Alt. German Eszett), ss04 (Alt. Latin K, M, W, X, k, m, w, x), ss05 (White Circled Numbers), ss06 (Black Circled Numbers), ss07 (Romanian Comma Accent), ss08 (Dutch IJ), ss09 (Catalan Ldot), ss10 (Turkish i).

Designed by Guille Vizzari and Agustín Maire, Espiritu is a multiple classification font family. This typeface has five styles and was published by Sudtipos.

Espíritu is the first font illustrated and designed by talented Graphic Designer, lettering artist, illustrator and musician Agustín Pizarro Maire.
For this entirely made-by-hand project, Agustín pushed his limits forward, significantly improving his notions in the type field, by applying his expertise and experience as an illustrator and letterer.
With Type Direction and design assist by Guille Vizzari, both joined forces to face this voyage together. The result is a peculiar font family that seeks for a free spirit, one that is imperfect and unpretentious. With its soul deeply rooted in wanderlust, just enjoying the journey, like an endless road trip.

Espíritu is a type family guided by the impulse of the hand, getting lost in the details of infinite drawn letters and icons, that perfectly fit meticulous designs, achieving also great impact when needed.

Espíritu consists of five styles that complement each other to get different voice tones for each kind of design piece. Espíritu Regular, the heaviest one and most versatile; Espíritu Condensed, for tall and compact compositions; Espíritu Expanded, a wide serif style that’s great for billboards and short messages; Espíritu Script, a mono-weight cursive to add softness to the family; and finally a huge set of illustrations, symbols, badges and more in Espíritu Dingbats.
Each of the alphabetical fonts offer an overflowing amount of alternates, swashes, and ligatures to maximize their capabilities.

To all the wild spirits out there, meet Espíritu, join the ride.

Inspired by an image of the chamfered block lettering of a semi-faded “ghost sign” for the Thomas Drug Co. in Thomas, Oklahoma, Local Druggist JNL is available in both regular and oblique versions.

“Ghost Signs” are the visible remnants of hand-painted signs on buildings where the original business had long closed or moved, yet the lettering had survived the passing years.
