Designed by John Roshell, Origin Story is a comic and hand drawn font family. This typeface has four styles and was published by Comicraft.

Down in his secret underground font laboratory, mild mannered John Roshell was tinkering with his iPad when the Apple Pencil suddenly bit him and he found himself feverishly creating letterforms on the tablet…

Before long his hand was burning and glowing with superspeed — his penstrokes were longer than one-eighth of a mile; he was suddenly able to letter a twenty-story omnibus with newfound fontastic strength and could create tremendous weights with more leading than an express train…

And thus was born: ORIGIN STORY!

Origin Story contains Regular, Italic, Bold & Bold Italic weights, each with alternate upper and lowercase letters that automatically cycle for a natural, pen-drawn appearance. It also features Manga Characters, Western & Central European language support, and of course Comicraft’s beloved Crossbar I Technology™.

Your characters aren’t merely angry—something else informs their monologues, something powerful and demanding. Their pronouncements bristle with power and energy, much like the cosmic gloves they wear on their clenched fists! Their words are laced with contempt and anger, and their enemies stand in awe of these Titans as they deliver their condemnations of all mankind, because their balloons are sharp, spiky and dangerous to touch!

Apply ComicraftPowerburst to fill your comics with passion, tension or an insane desire to TAKE OVER THE WORLD!

Designed by Jakob Fischer, Mystery Shot is a comic, hand display and hand drawn font family. This typeface has two styles and was published by Pizzadude.dk.

Mystery Shot is not your every day all-caps comic font. It is handdrawn with a permanent marker, which explains the sometimes rough edges. I’ve made 2 versions that mixes for great results. The stroke of the outline version is designed to fall slightly off here and there, and that was done on purpuse to enhance the handmade look of the regular version. What’s more is that I added 5 slightly different versions of each letter, and the font has multilingual support!

Download Cartoon Nouveau JNL Fonts Family From Jeff Levine Fonts
Designed by Jeff Levine, Cartoon Nouveau JNL is an art nouveau and comic font family. This typeface has two styles and was published by Jeff Levine Fonts.

Most of the lettering on a piece of sheet music for a song from the 1921 George M. Cohan musical comedy entitled “The O’Brien Girl” was hand lettered in a playful, casual Art Nouveau design with rounded ends.

The characters on that page took on a look reminiscent of cartoon or comic strip wording, and the result is a digital typeface named Cartoon Nouveau JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.
